Fibrex, or sugar beet fibre, is a natural product produced from the sugar beet after the sugar has been extracted.  Manufactured in Sweden by Dansico Sugar AB, in a one product factory, Fibrex is sold throughout the world and used in a wide range of applications.

This highly functional dietary fibre (67% AOAC, 73% by difference) has an optimal ratio of soluble (1/3) and insoluble (2/3) fibres, Fibrex also has a high potential in health applications as it is naturally phytic acid and gluten free.  The soluble fibre component offers a high water holding capacity (WHC) which makes it ideal in bakery and meat applications.

For the retail consumer, our new 250g pack can be used in home baking/cooking or as a direct supplement on breakfast cereals or in yoghurt, for example.

A more detailed explanation of the health benefits for Fibrex can be found here.
